E Klear is governed by E Klear in collaboration with EHL. This policy describes, in plain language, what happens to your data.
When you speak, your audio is sent for transcription and then discarded. Raw voice recordings are not permanently stored. We would only ever store a recording where it is genuinely required and you have explicitly consented first.
Your transcript is used to produce your translation. Translations you save are private to your account.
Saved translations are visible only to you. You can delete any single item, or clear everything, from History at any time.
The optional Personal Voice Profile stores derived pronunciation hints — never raw audio. You can skip setup, reset it, or delete it in Settings.
Data is stored in our managed cloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest, and protected by row-level access rules so that your records are only reachable by you and, where necessary, by authorized administrators.
Temporary operational data — request logs, research records, failed translation diagnostics, translation cache and guest usage counters — is deleted automatically after a configurable retention window set by administrators. Your own saved history is not on that clock; it stays until you delete it.
Contact us at any time to have your account and associated data removed.
