"Teach us new Naija pidgin" lets real speakers grow the shared dictionary. Here is how it is governed.

Submissions are not instantly trusted

A new word or meaning enters a learning process. It is not treated as trusted vocabulary on submission.

Spelling versus meaning

Spelling variations may be normalized to an existing word as a candidate alias. False meanings are rejected.

How confidence grows

Independent agreement from separate contributors increases confidence. Entries that reach high confidence may be approved automatically; others wait for admin review.

Prohibited behaviour

Spam, deliberate false meanings, automated submissions and coordinated voting to manipulate confidence are prohibited.

Admin oversight

Administrators can correct, merge, suspend, reject or reverse entries at any time. Sensitive actions are recorded in the admin audit log.
